About Mannheim:

This 400-year young city of 320,000 is a busy centre in a highly industrialized region of south-west Germany. Its citizens have focused on science, technology, and engineering since the Baroque era and numerous developments which have changed our world originate here: the bicycle, the car and the Haber-Bosch process to convert atmospheric nitrogen into fertilizer. The cultural opportunities in Mannheim are just as varied as the town itself. Numerous museums, nationally and internationally acclaimed exhibitions and artistic treasures in countless galleries which exceed even the highest expectations.

Academic Program:

The Cooperative State University Baden Württemberg Mannheim is split up between two departments: Department of Business with 19 diverse fields of study and degree programs and the Department of Engineering with seven degree programs. The two departments incorporate the topics of media, business, business informatics, computer science, information technology and engineering. The dual degree program rotates on three month intervals, three months in the respective company and three months in the university. The regular change of location requires the students to be flexible and able to get engaged with high concentration on individual study sections.
