Program Description:
Dear Prospective Global Ambassador:
We are excited that you are considering to apply to be a Global Ambassador for Study Abroad at ECU! This exclusive, competitive placement is in its fifth year at East Carolina University, and as a Global Ambassador you will be building a legacy of internationalization on campus. The following information should aid you as you complete the attached application.
Online applications are due by midnight, August 19, 2018.
Global Ambassador RetreatApplicants are required to be full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students who have studied abroad for at least 14 days prior to the fall 2018 semester. Global Ambassadors will be required to attend monthly meetings* throughout the academic year, with day and time to be determined. Global Ambassadors must also be able to attend a MANDATORY Training at the Pocosin River Arts Lodge, departing from ECU at 5 PM on Friday, August 24 and returning at 6 PM on Saturday, August 25, 2018. This retreat is imperative because you will learn vital information about the program and receive training crucial for performing duties as a Global Ambassador.
